So I made some fabric over the weekend (if you'd like to see them, check them out on Spoonflower, here: http://www.spoonflower.com/collections/10397).
Saturday morning, I used Seattle's approximately 18 minutes of sunlight to scooter around Green Lake taking photos of the reflections on the water, then Sunday, post-processed my way into the following shots. (Photos of the actual designs created are below all these--look for the text).
I love the one above. OK! So here's what mirror imaging on Spoonflower will do to photos like this. I have to say, I really love how they came out.
This last one looks like bugs or aliens, right? Love! So anyway, that's how I spent my Sunday. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday, actually.
If any of these strike your fancy, let me know and I'll send you an email when they're ready to be sold--Spoonflower doesn't let you sell fabric until you've ordered swatches to make sure the pattern came out as you intended (color is deep enough, ink doesn't run, scale is appropriate, etc.)
